Our neighborhood has quite a few new homeowners, so now is a good time to get together, get acquainted and help make our area a safer and friendlier place to live.

All Ridgeview Gardens homeowners and residents are invited to the Summer Social, following up on the cordial gathering of July 16.

Place: The pool.
Time:   4 p.m.
Date:    Saturday, Aug. 27

Hamburgers, hot dogs and sodas will again be provided. Bring a side dish � or a game � to share.

And Then �
The Board has scheduled two more get-togethers while the weather is good and the pool is open: 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, and noon Saturday, Oct. 22. Watch for further announcements and stay tuned for other community activities. Perhaps we can organize a monster garage sale? Phone the RGHA at 547-9848 with your ideas.

An Update on Upgrading the Neighborhood
The board is continuing its efforts to improve the appearance of our area to make it a place where we�re all proud to live. Please cooperate when reminded of existing city and Association rules � and let us know if something should be taken care of.

. . . and on Document Revision
A small committee continues working on revision of the RGHA Governing Documents (the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and CC&Rs), which were written in the early 1970s when the development was built. The committee is close to finishing many months of work, with guidance from the law firm of Glenn H. Youngling in San Rafael. The completed draft will be presented to the Board of Directors, which will decide on submitting it to all homeowners for a vote.
