6:07pm meeting called to order by Tim Casey, president

Minutes of Jan. 11, 2010 meeting reviewed and accepted as written.

Treasurer’s report:

Our checking acct. has over $22,000 at this time. Almost 200 members have paid their dues. Dave will send out revised invoices, with a late fee added, to all members who have not sent payment by 2/15. The checking account reconciliation statement was passed around and reviewed.

Old Business:

Hand dryers for the pool restrooms will be more expensive than thought, due to probable insufficient wiring per electrician making bid. Dave noticed that at the pool there were missing switches, light fixtures, caps on outdoor sockets, motion lights. A motion was made by Gail to hire repair of these items, and to use the standard paper towel dispensers that were previously purchased, but never installed. Motion was seconded by Dave and passed unanimously.

The pool deck surface grinding (to make it level at seams in cement) has been done for the previously bid of $435. Motion was made by Gail, seconded by Suzy, to approve payment of the bill. Motion passed unanimously. Tim will check the work before submitting the bill to Dave for payment.

Door skins: Suzy will look into cost of repairing the storage room door at the pool. The pump room door may have to wait until next year.

Water leak at pool. Barbara Thomas, pool liason, called American Leak detection. Their fees were high. Our pool service man said he did not think the pool was the source. Suzy will have her landscape man check the sprinklers, and will post her findings on our emails.

Newsletter:

Plan one for March, featuring the May board election, pool opening. Suzy and Gail will hand deliver to all homes, to keep renters informed. Landlord’s newsletters will be mailed.

New Business:

  • Suzy will talk with Barbara T. about the idea of having a B-B-Q in May this year.
  • Tim noticed a light on at the pool at 11am. Will investigate.
  • Gail will call our website to discover the cost of posting our new CC&Rs and Bylaws.

6:44 Meeting adjourned.
Next meeting Mar. 8, 6pm, at Starbuck’s.
