Board meetings are open to all members of the Ridgeview Gardens Home Association,
and we encourage anyone and everyone to attend.
Meeting Minutes
June 25, 2019
RGHA Board Meeting was called to order at 6:40 pm.
Attendance: Marc, Katie, Anne, and guests Josh Woods, Jan Barret, Derek Speakerman, Maggie Kostoff
Old Business:
Problem areas were identified by residents at Annual Board Meeting:
� Trailers parked on the street or not behind fences,
� Taking care of weeding, trees, and fences.
**We agreed as board our policy is to address problems when someone raises anissue but we are not going to police the neighborhood.
Swimming lessons at the pool for children was brought up. Last year Katie got a swim instructor from Sonoma State University to teach her children to swim.
As long as the pool remains open to others, this should not be a problem.
**Marc said it�s too much of a liability to pay someone for lessons at the pool �Katie shouldn�t have lessons at the pool.
The BBQ�s when opening and closing the pool were not held last year due to lowa Attendance the year before.
**Anne Leach and her husband have agreed to take over the HOA BBQ and neighborhood garage sale � see more in new business.
It was reiterated that volunteering is a good way to know what going on in RGHA, and that homeowners/renters are always welcome to come to the Board meetngs. The date of next Board Meetng is available on the RGHA phone.

**Josh Woods attended tonight�s meeting � he�s going to consider joining the board in some capacity.
Treasurer�s Report: Checking: $24,928
Reserve Account: $45,417
16 homeowners haven�t paid their 2019 HOA dues.
Katie will ask Dave to send out a third request for payment to all those in arrears.
New Business:
The Board received a complaint about 4309 Brookshire circle from a resident noting extensive weeks and tires in the front yard, a car on sits in the driveway, and transient traffic at the house. The resident expressed concerns that the person living there (daughter of the homeowner) is renting rooms to various different unsavory people. The board will call the homeowner directly to talk
about this complaint.
Another resident complained about the house on the corner of Yolo Court and Calavaras. It is overgrown with weeds and sitting vacant. Marc will follow up to see if the house is being sold.
The Board received a complaint about 4119 Siskiyou Ave. regarding the trailer parked out front and a barking dog. A verbal warning has been given to the Anne Leach and her husband have volunteered to coordinate the HOA BBQ and annual garage sale along with Jan Barrett. Board will fund BBQ cost and garage sale advertisement. A date has not been set for either activity.
Maggie Kostoff asked if we could get a google website for the neighborhood �google hood�. We talked about gekng a new website coordinator � maybe a
resident in the neighborhood who could poten-ally coordinate a neighborhood site as well.
We received a letter from the County regarding the measured flow rate of the pool. Jeff will contact the county about the issue and he�s ordered a part to fix the issue.
Mike completed pressure wash of pool and will submit addittonal expenses. Katie to pay Mike.
Notes for next Board meeting:
The next board mee-ng was scheduled for August 20th at 6:30 at the pool.
We potentially need to hold an election if we get volunteers for board positions.
Board Meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm.
