Board meetings are open to all members of the Ridgeview Gardens Home Association, and we encourage anyone and everyone to attend.

May 6, 2008

Attendance:
Five Board members Michael Martinez, Barbara Thomas, Patty Coyle, Melissa Tracy and John Leach
Also Concerned Neighbors Martin McReynolds, David Coyle, Gail Simons and Michel Stamoulis

New Business:

Elections for new board members. Two new members of the board must be elected to replace Patty Coyle and John Leach, whose terms expired. David Coyle, Michel Stamoulis and Janaize Markland volunteered to run for the two openings. Ballots will be sent out.

Motion: The board voted unanimously to have Michael Martinez take over the mowing of the common area instead of Dave Sfazo for the same price as last years rates.

Also there is a big water leak of 8,000 to 9,000 gallons of water per month in the common area and the board is having someone look for the leak and to fix the problem when found.

The pool pump needed repair before the May 1st opening and Bob Penny pools fixed the problem the board agreed to have a $500 cap on repairs before a board vote needed to be made if such a problem occurred.

Also for the New CC&R’s we needed to have inspectors of ballots. Three members of the Association agreed to volunteer to help with this matter.

Motion: To Accept Vote Monitors board passed unanimously to accept vote monitors.

CC&R Revision packets were handed out and recipients signed for them at the meeting, but the ballots were not ready and would be sent out in the next week or so along with the ballots for the new board members.

The packets will be delivered by hand to association members and those who are not local will be sent the information by US postal service.

Old Business:

• Still having problems with the gate on Calavaras neighbor complained about the noise during the storm banging open and shut.

Newsletter: Next news letter will be out after the ballots come back with news of election results.
