Minutes of board meeting of Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association
October 24, 2005

Meeting was held at Starbucks in Bennett Valley
Present: Brad Conners, Linda Vargas, Janaize Markland, Gail Simmons, Michel Stamoulis, Martin McReynolds

The work on the pool for the back flow pump was done and Gail Simmons received a bill for roughly $1,800.

The home at 4344 Brookshire needs to clean-up their yard and there a few cars in their area.  The board needs to mail them a letter as previously discussed.

It was decided that we would increase Dennis's salary to $200 a month from the previous $150.  Brad Conners will approach Dennis about his raise.

We need to have all major expenses brought up to the board prior to making any purchases.  They need to be approved by the board in order for the Ridgeview Homeowners Association to reimburse for those expenses. No exceptions to this rule.

Linda Vargas has made reservations for a Pop Corn Machine and Cotton Candy Machine for the Saturday, Oct. 29th Halloween Event near the pool area.

There will be some face painting.  A jumpy has been loaned to the Ridgeview Homeowners Association for the activities of Saturday October 29th.  We might also have a Pinata at the event.

Martin will take some pictures at the event and perhaps post them on our website.  We are hoping that David Coyle can help with posting the pictures on our website.

The board decided to invest and buy a BBQ for the association.  The purchase will be made sometime next year.

There has been some complaints to the city of Santa Rosa about Halloween decorations on the house of the sex offender that lives in our area within the Ridgeview Homeowners Association.  There is no law against decorating your home with Halloween items.

Parents are concerned that it may attract children to that home.  

Please be careful and be aware of your surroundings.  Full participation at the Halloween event will be needed by adults and children.
