Board meetings are open to all members of the Ridgeview Gardens Home Association, and we encourage anyone and everyone to attend.

Minutes of board meeting of Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association
Sept. 14, 2009

Attendees
Tim Casey, Dave Coyle, Suzie Felgen, Gail Simons, and member Martin McReynolds.

Meeting called to order at 6:10pm, poolside. No minutes were available from last meeting.

Treasurer’s report: (reports compiled, stored in storage shed annually by Dave Coyle)

Checking acc’t. reconciliation. Two ’04 checks to State Franchise board were never cashed, so finally cancelled out of books.

Draft of 2010 Budget. Compared to ’09 budget. Discussed need to increase dues to $135/yr if we are going to finish painting pool house and replace doors on pump room and storage room. All noted that ‘skin’ is peeling off storage door. Decision to be made at next meeting. Then budget projection for 2010 will be finalized for Nov. mailing to members.

• Suzy will get bid for missing light fixture in breezeway.
• Tim will get bids for leveling cement on pool deck, where it has lifted

Old Business:

Web site needs to be updated with minutes, new photos.

•Gail will start by getting these minutes and future ones on site (will call Nancy at Web Designs)
•Gail will call former board members, seeking minutes since Jan. (Dave has prior)
•Martin will update with Aug. BBQ photos

New Business:

Offices were agreed upon. Tim volunteered to be president, Suzy to be VP, Dave will cont. as treasurer, Gail will be secretary. Janaize will be member at large, if she agrees.

Suzy was concerned about two houses, which have been deserted. Details of each discussed.

Martin is also posting election results to the web site.

Newsletter:
Will go out in November with invoices and 2010 budget. Members will be informed of Board meeting schedule and reminded to call ahead to find out place or time/date changes.

Phone mail:
Suzy volunteered to check phone mail twice weekly. (Gail will give her access number and check phone mail this week, while Suzy is on vacation.)

Meeting adjourned 7pm. Next meeting to be decided by email
