End-of-Summer Party at the Pool
Sunday, Sept. 28, 2 p.m.
It’s that time again. Let’s get together at the Ridgeview Gardens Pool to relax with the neighbors and say goodbye to summer.
Bring a salad or dessert to share if you’d like. Hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be provided. .
Remember – 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28. See you there.
. . . and if anyone has some old but usable plastic furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) to donate for community use, please bring it. There have been quite a few pieces broken this year and there are no current plans to buy new ones.
Lingering Election
Didn’t we hold an election on the new governing documents for RGHA and to elect new board members? Yes, we did, and many thanks to all the homeowners who sent in their ballots.
Unfortunately, only 140 ballots were received from the 250 homeowners, barely enough to satisfy the 128-vote quorum. There’s no way to tell whether some spoiled ballots might wreck the quorum count before opening them. Our lawyers suggested the unopened ballots be held while the Board extends the voting deadline to get enough ballots to reflect a fair measure of homeowner sentiment.
The Board has extended the deadline to Sept. 30. If you haven’t sent in your ballot yet, please take the time to do it. If you need a ballot – or a copy of the revised documents (Articles of Incorporation, CC&Rs and Bylaws), please phone David Coyle at 568-1442. Thanks. |
