Ridgeview Gardens Web SiteThe Web site for the Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association will be completed shortly. Please send us your suggestions and comments. With your input, we hope to create a virtual community that offers neighborhood, board and pool information, providing a forum for neighbors to stay connected. We anticipate having the web site ready for 'prime time' by the general meeting Feb. 24.

for 2005 distributed to Homeowners | Pool RepairsThe Board has contracted for essential repairs in the pool area -

Replacement of solar heating panels and installation of temperature control. There were numerous complaints last year about the water being too cold. The old copper panels are outdated, corroded and leaking. Replacement will be with an array of 10 Heliocol panels, 4 X 12.5 feet and an LX220 Solar Control System, for a total of $4,200. The work will be done by Bob's Pool & Spa, the company that has been handling pool maintenance. Their bid was in the middle of three estimates obtained and provided for a more complete panel array than the lower bid. Replacement of pool pump ($805.88) and chlorinator ($554.90). The pump was leaking last year and needs to be replaced before the new pool season. The chlorinator is undersized and caused problems last year when water quality deteriorated. The work will also be carried out by Bob's Pool & Spa. Repair of front and back gates by Coggins Fence & Supply for $550.25
These repairs follow replacement of the skimmer the previous year so we are hopeful that the pool will be in good shape for the foreseeable future. Laptop ComputerLast call on the laptop computer the Association bought several years ago but is no longer using. It's a Hitachi Visionbook Plus 4000 Series, Model 4140, which we understand has a present market value of $50 to $100.
