| It's Been a Good Year
We have had a marvelous year on the board! Meetings
were one hour each month at Starbucks, mostly. Our
meetings were concise and harmonious, business was
conducted efficiently, and Michel Stamoulis' minutes
were posted for all to read on our colorful, inviting
website. Brad Connors and Janaize Markland spearheaded
more gatherings in the park and at poolside than
we have had in recent memory. Dave Coyle's up-to-date
accounting and computer reports kept us fiscally
responsible. Perhaps best of all, we got to know
                            each other.
Now Dave and Michel have finished their 2-year terms.
We will have board elections to fill their positions
at the April 25 General Membership Meeting. Please
consider getting to know our community better by
volunteering a term on the board. We are fortunate
that Patti Lea is already interested in the position
of treasurer. Contact a board member or RGHA by phone if you are
interested. Nominations will also be taken at the
Membership Meeting. Voting will be by mail. Pool season and keys
 The RGHA swimming pool opens
May 1. Members who have paid the 2006 dues of $125
are eligible to get pool keys. To get your key, contact
                            Gail Simons at 526-3526.
Neighbors watch hoods Thieves got more than they bargained for when they
decided to try to steal from a home on Leafwood Circle
East recently. An alert neighbor noticed something
strange was occuring when a man entered a house through
the garage and exited with various goods, getting
into a waiting car driven by another man. That neighbor
alerted the police, who arrested both of the suspects. "It just goes to show that it pays to know
your neighbors" says Gail Simons, Acting President
of the Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association. Gail
went on to add, "It's also a good idea to know
your neighbors' home, work, and cell phone numbers
                            in case of an emergency."
