A Halloween to remember
Oct. 29 marked the first annual Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association Halloween Party! About 30 children attended, and everyone had a great time! Activities included a bounce house, two pinatas, and face painting (thanks to Ann Leach!), as well as carnival snacks including popcorn and cotton candy (thanks to Linda Vargas!).
This pool season really shined with great turnouts to the social gatherings which were held more often. These gatherings are an important part of our community, so that we can all have a chance to meet our neighbors and make new friends. We hope to see all of our residents at next year's BBQ's.
The Halloween party was a great way to end the pool season, and also a great way for the kids to start a fun and safe Halloween. We are already looking forward to the Second Annual Halloween Party, and plans are in the works to kick off next season with the First Annual RGHA Easter Egg Hunt!
Responding To Complaints
Based on homeowner feedback, the RGHA Board will continue to respond to complaints regarding violations of the Homeowner Association's Covenants Conditions & Restrictions and associated bylaws.
Ridgeview Gardens prides itself on being one of the most pleasant neighborhoods in Santa Rosa and we appreciate your help in keeping it this way.
If you have any specific concerns we encourage
you to phone the RGHA Comment Line at 707-547-9848. Your message can be anonymous. If you would like a call back, please leave your name and phone number. Identities of complainants will be held in confidence.
It's That Time, Again
Well, folks, it's time for the holidays:Thanksgiving, Hanukah, Christmas and New Years. It's also time for annual RGHA dues. After careful study, it looks like
we will be able to keep the 2006 dues at the same rate as this year's. We are very proud of this feat of bookkeeping, and hope it helps everybody's budget balance a little easier in this era of skyrocketing gas and power prices.
Enclosed with this newsletter you'll find the 2005 budget, the actual 2005 income and expenses, and the new 2006 budget. Something to notice, the 2005 budget was for $31,000 to be collected in dues. We actually collected almost $35,000 in dues. The difference of nearly $4k was due to collection of past years' dues. As of now, 247 of the 250 RGHA members are entirely paid up. This nearly unanimous cooperation by our membership helps keep dues from rising in the future. Good job!
Also with this newsletter, you'll get this year's dues assessment for $125. Please make your check payable to RGHA. Your payment is due by 12/31/05.
A late fee of $25 will be added on Feb. 1, 2006, if payment has not been received. A final note: Checks received before the end of 2005 will be deposited on the first banking day of January 2006. Checks received during January will be deposited on the first banking day of February 2006. This pattern will continue throughout the year.

is 547-9848. Leave a message on the voice mail and
we'll get back to you.
